Salut,

Un coffre d'inspiration médiévale. Chêne, fer et vieux clous (plus de 1200) pour satisfaire la commande d'un vieux comte de Transylvanie...

Hello,

A medieval chest. Oak, iron and old nails (more than 1200) for the pleasure of an old count who lives somewhere in Transylvania...

Hands down the best piece I've seen on this site. I would love a piece like this. Great work!

How much would a piece like this cost if I may ask?

Impossible for me to give you a price. I chose oak and ornamental iron took about eight weeks of work. The longest was the cutting and fixing using three kinds of nails.

When we love we do not count !

Thank you very much !!
I don't remember what I was thinking when I was drawing the iron's shapes. I tried to find something gothic. The wyvern idea is good. In France, the legend of wywern tell that they are guardians of a treasure. And a treasure maybe hidden in a chest... So a wywern design is logic !

Hey, do you know what I arrange in this chest ??

My socks...

I like all of it, but the weird scratches in the grain. Amazing.

Thanks for your comment.
No scratches, just the pretty drawing of the texture of the oak. The surface is very smooth. The oak is a wood which often cracks of pleasure under the caresses :-)

Sometimes. The manner of cherishing is very important.
